Overview:
Be a trusted advisor to some of the most prominent national and super regional franchise and large chain businesses in the country. In this role, you’ll manage and grow a portfolio of high-value, complex commercial loan relationships while uncovering new opportunities to deepen client partnerships. You’ll blend financial expertise, strategic thinking, and relationship savvy to drive sustainable growth for both our clients and the Bank.
Primary Responsibilities:- Serve as the primary relationship lead for large-dollar, well established and growth oriented commercial loan clients, delivering customized financial solutions that meet evolving business needs.
- Proactively source new business opportunities while expanding existing relationships through strategic cross-selling of loan, deposit, and fee-based products.
- Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand business operations, financial requirements, and risk profiles; analyze credit information and present well-founded relationship and credit recommendations.
- Protect and grow portfolio profitability by maintaining superior asset quality—monitoring credit performance, ensuring covenant compliance, and maintaining accurate, complete credit documentation.
- Execute a disciplined, formal calling program designed to generate new loan revenue.
- Stay ahead of market trends, competitive activity, and economic developments to identify growth opportunities in both established and emerging markets.
- Endeavor to be an ambassador of the Bank through participation in civic, professional, and community organizations.
- Manage and retain a portfolio of large, sophisticated commercial relationships with a high degree of autonomy and accountability.
- Partner closely with internal teams—including Credit, Treasury Management, Capital Markets and Operations—to deliver seamless, high-touch client service and operational excellence.
Bachelors Degree or four years relevant experience.
Minimum of seven years commercial portfolio management experience.
Advanced financial analysis skills and strong command of commercial credit principles.
Broad understanding of commercial banking products, including fee-based solutions.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels.
Proven ability to influence, sell, and build long-term client relationships.
Strong presentation skills with the confidence to represent the Bank in both client and community settings.
