Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced data scientist with strong mathematical and statistical expertise, coupled with natural curiosity and creativity. As a Consultant at Tredence, you will uncover hidden opportunities and realize the full potential of data.

Job Location:
Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Pune, Kolkata

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop Modern Data Warehouse solutions using Databricks and AWS/Azure Stack
  • Provide forward-thinking solutions in data engineering and analytics space
  • Collaborate with DW/BI leads for new ETL pipeline development requirements
  • Triage issues in existing pipelines and fix gaps
  • Develop data models to fulfill reporting needs
  • Drive technical discussions with client architects and team members
  • Orchestrate data pipelines in scheduler via Airflow

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor's and/or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 6+ years of IT experience and 3+ years' experience in Data warehouse/ETL projects
  • Deep understanding of Star and Snowflake dimensional modeling
  • Strong knowledge of Data Management principles
  • Hands-on experience in SQL, Python, and Spark (PySpark)
  • Experience with AWS/Azure stack and Databricks Data & AI platform
  • Desirable to have experience with ETL batch and streaming (Kinesis), Apache Kafka, Hadoop, MongoDB, Cassandra, Neo4J, etc.
  • Proficiency in RDBMS, complex SQL, PL/SQL, Unix Shell Scripting
  • Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate/Professional Certification (Desirable)
  • Experience working in Agile methodology
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
