Java Full-Stack Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Back-End Development:

• Develop and maintain scalable, efficient, and high-performance back-end applications using Java and related technologies (e.g., Spring Boot, Hibernate).
• Work with RESTful APIs to handle communication between front-end and back-end systems.
• Implement database designs, write complex SQL queries, and optimize database interactions (using relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL).
• Work with Version Control systems like Git for source code management and collaborate with team members on best practices for code versioning.

Front-End Development:

• Develop and enhance responsive web applications using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and front-end frameworks like Angular or React.
• Ensure a seamless user experience by closely collaborating with UX/UI designers.
• Integrate front-end elements with back-end logic and services.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Work in an agile team, attending daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate closely with back-end and front-end developers, as well as with product managers and QA engineers, to ensure project deadlines and objectives are met.
• Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing applications for speed and efficiency.

Testing & Maintenance:

• Write unit and integration tests using tools such as JUnit, Mockito, or other testing frameworks.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality and ensure best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and provide timely fixes for production issues.

Qualifications:

Education:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience:

• At least 1 year of experience in Java development, preferably in a full-stack environment.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Framework (Spring Boot), and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks like React or Angular.
• Basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL and understanding of SQL.

Skills:

• Version Control: Git/GitHub/GitLab.
• Development Tools: IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse, Visual Studio Code, or similar.
• Containerization & Cloud Technologies (Bonus): Docker, Kubernetes, AWS or Azure.
• CI/CD Tools (Bonus): Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitLab CI.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn quickly.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team.

Preferred (Bonus Skills):

• Familiarity with testing frameworks like JUnit, Mockito, Jest, or Cypress.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Basic understanding of DevOps practices and tools.
