Node.js Developer

Position: Node.js Developer
Experience: 1.5+ years
Location: Indore
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

Development & Maintenance:

• Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications using Node.js.
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
• Work with APIs (RESTful, GraphQL) and integrate with external services and databases.
• Build and manage microservices and scalable systems.

Collaboration & Code Reviews:

• Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Conduct peer code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance and scalability issues.

Database Management:

• Work with both SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, etc.) databases.
• Ensure optimal database design, query performance, and security practices.

API & Server Management:

• Develop, implement, and maintain APIs.
• Manage and optimize server performance.
• Implement authentication and authorization processes.

Testing & Deployment:

• Write unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests.
• Ensure continuous integration and deployment pipelines are in place for smooth delivery.
• Monitor application performance in production and ensure minimal downtime.

Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in JavaScript and Node.js, with hands-on experience in building backend applications.
• Familiar with Express.js and other backend frameworks.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and callback functions.
• Familiarity with version control tools (Git/GitHub).
• Experience with RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of database technologies like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.
• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) is a plus.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt and learn new technologies as required.
