About Us:

Debugshala is a leading IT Training and Placement company dedicated to preparing individuals for the tech industry. We are seeking a talented Video Editor to join our creative team, responsible for producing engaging and high-quality video content that will resonate with our audience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Video Editing: Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos for platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other social media channels.
• Content Creation: Collaborate with the content team to create various types of video content, including promotional videos, tutorials, interviews, event highlights, and social media clips.
• Post-Production: Manage the complete post-production process, including color correction, sound mixing, adding visual effects, transitions, and titles.
• Creative Storytelling: Assemble footage into coherent, compelling narratives that align with the brand's messaging and goals.
• Motion Graphics: Incorporate basic motion graphics and animations where necessary to enhance visual storytelling.
• Content Optimization: Ensure all video content is optimized for various platforms and formats, maintaining high quality across resolutions.
• Video Assets Management: Organize and maintain a library of video assets for easy access and reuse.
• Stay Updated: Keep up with the latest trends, tools, and techniques in video editing and post-production.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
• Experience in adding motion graphics using tools like Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere.
• Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and editing techniques.
• Knowledge of color grading, sound editing, and video compression formats.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and video requirements for each (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and a creative mindset.
• Basic knowledge of camera operation and video shooting is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Graphic Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• A portfolio or showreel showcasing your video editing skills is required.
• Familiarity with tech-related content or the education industry is a plus.
